Bariga is a district and suburb in Lagos State, Nigeria. It was upgraded to a Local Council Development Area in 2013. The area is known for its natural style and is home to the oldest secondary school in Nigeria. Bariga is also the birthplace of notable figures such as Nigerian rappers Olamide and Lil Kesh, singer 9ice, and journalist Kingsley Momoh.
